Basic Program for Flight Simulator
This program - Flight.bas -will calculate the distance and course from any one airport or beacon to any other airport or beacon. Airport and beacon data must already have been entered in the basic file. Course compensates for magnetic variation and for the change in longitudinal degrees as you go north or south of the equator, which is equivalent to a great circle bearing. This program is written in QBasic and must be entered EXACTLY as shown. If you are experienced in QBasic you should have no problem. If you are a beginner and you have a problem carefully check what you have written against what you see here. This is a long program and will take some time to enter. After the last page of the program, you will see a series of pages covering the different menu screens and explanations of exactly how data must be entered.
